Made a little bit of history. For the first time in 11 years, a Junior from the successful soccer program of Wiregrass High School was named an “All State” player. In February of 2017, the Florida Athletic Coaches Association, comprised of more than 5,000 member coaches, both high school and college in the state of Florida voted on who their “All State” soccer players would be. Our coach David Wilson proudly announced that for the first time in the history of our school, that not 1 but 4 Juniors had been selected as “All State” players!

Coach David Wilson on Ian’s Flores Selection

I was fortunate to be one of the chosen Juniors along with three other skilled players, Royce Luedde, Jackson Trudel and Ryan Al-Khatib. You can watch the video below of this special moment. My appreciation goes to all my coaches.
